Sequence 3

2025
73 x 60 x 1.5 cm
Wood, mulberry paper and cotton thread

Sequence is a series of material compositions formed from familiar materials - wood, thread, and mulberry paper.

Each piece is a reflection on surface and structure. Materials are layered, punctured, and knotted at each intersection to form arrangements offragmented geometries.

The interaction of materials emphasises the quiet persistence of underlying patterns and rhythm in our reading of the gently distorted and incomplete forms.
